About Me
From startup brand to National retailer, I have seen more than most. I began my time in the industry as the VP of Business Development and first employee at ReGrained - a Bay Area Food Startup making the world a better place through Upcycling spent grain into delicious, nutritious snacks, so I know what it takes to really be in it. I then had the great fortune of helping to guide a diverse set of entrepreneurs with a shared drive, determination, and the mission of bringing better food to more people through the Chobani Incubator. In my work, I had the unique opportunity to mentor start-up companies and provide them with access to resources and education to grow all aspects of their business, from branding, sales, operations, logistics, and more. I have taken all the information I have learned over the course of 4 cohorts, and am bringing it to you. Post Chobani, I went on to serve as a Category Manager at National Co+op Grocers, working with brands to help them succeed at over 200 stores nationwide and help the organization better understand how to communicate with small brands to set them up for success.
I could not ask for a better industry to be a part of. The desire to feed others is one of the truest form of love. I have sat on the steering committee for Naturally NYC, have acted as a mentor and coach for Project Potluck, XCelerate Portland, Expo East/Expo West Pitch Slams, SXSW, and ImpactSKU. I’ve been a SOFI judge for the Specialty Food Association, an advisor to the Sprouts retail team, and served as a panelist for a variety of industry engagements. I love to bring the community together by hosting dinner parties for Food Industry Professionals.
I help BIPOC and Women Owned businesses with all manner of strategy and hands on execution and help VCs and Retailers create programming to better serve the needs of diverse, underserved founders - the true future of our industry. I would love to help your business get up and running or continue to thrive using a full arsenal of tools, strategies, and good old fashioned grind, even if all you need is an extra set of hands or someone who’s been around the block to bounce ideas off of or see things from a fresh perspective.
When I am not working, I can be found crocheting cute clothes for my client’s kids.
