Noticing that veterans were a subgroup of founders that applied to the incubator, I saw an opportunity to create a program specifically geared toward our nation’s heroes, bringing in hands on mentors and speakers that had walked in their shoes, including some incubator alums. We partnered with the Institute for Veteran and Military Families to help us source applicants, get the word out, and advise us on some of the programming. We were lucky to find three amazing founders who to no surprise soaked up every bit of the week long bootcamp and continue their relationship with Chobani to this day.
