Team One CSR Business Plan - Research and Development
During my time at the Publicis advertising agency Team One, I saw that this 500 person office did its best to create opportunities for its employees to volunteer and give back to the local community. While the thought was well intentioned, the opportunities were sporadic and disjointed. It was, at times, difficult to understand what the agency stood for in its efforts. Working across all departments in the agency, I saw a need to bridge these efforts and created a strategy to solidify and formalize Team One’s Corporate Social Responsibility Program and the role it played in the workplace. I took it upon myself to research and create a strategy to solidify and formalize Team One’s Corporate Social Responsibility program (seen above). I designed opportunities for developmental leadership and increased overall volunteer participation by 50%. I used output surveys, improved reporting, and institutional research to define future company KPIs and mission statement.
With this information, I developed volunteer and pro bono opportunities, providing insight on the Los Angeles non-profit community incl.:
* Leading 2015 Pro Bono client campaign for The It Gets Better Project helping to raise over $43K during my tenure.
* Catalyzing the launch of corporate strategic partnership with 826 LA resulting in over 1/5 of individuals in the agency committing to volunteering their time and skills in various capacities.
